DARRELL S. HUSBAND represents and advises individuals and business entities in a wide variety of corporate and real estate transactions including purchases, sales, leases, mergers, acquisitions, foreclosure, commercial and residential trustee’s sales, private securities offerings, construction and development agreements, corporation and limited liability company formation and intellectual property protection. In addition to his transactional practice, Mr. Husband uses his significant experience in commercial and real estate litigation to advise and represent clients through commercial disputes, loan workouts, loan modifications, short sales, debt restructuring and the resolution of disputes in the foregoing practice areas.
Mr. Husband was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2002 and the State Bar of Arizona in 2003, and is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the District of Arizona. Mr. Husband is a member of the Public Policy Advisory Council for the Scottsdale Area Chamber of Commerce, and he is a former member of the Executive Council of the Securities Regulation Section of the State Bar of Arizona.
Mr. Husband received his Juris Doctorate degree in 2002 from the Pepperdine University School of Law, where he also received a specialty Certificate in Entrepreneurship & Technology Law. Mr. Husband is currently a Fellow and was a founding student Board Member of the Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology Law in Malibu, California, now known as the Geoffrey H. Palmer Center for Entrepreneurship and the Law. While in law school, Mr. Husband was on the Dean’s Honor List, was twice elected to represent his fellow law students on the Student Bar Association and was a Brief Writing Coach for the Saul Lefkowitz Trademark Law Moot Court Competition.
Mr. Husband received his undergraduate education at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Mr. Husband was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico and now resides in Scottsdale, Arizona.
