Charles R. Berry
A founder of the former Phoenix law firm of Norton, Burke, Berry & French, P.C., Mr. Berry was also a shareholder and director of Fennemore Craig, P.C. in Phoenix, serving as chairman of that firm's securities practice group. He has participated in many continuing legal education seminars and panels for organizations such as the State Bar of Arizona and the National Association of Securities Dealers, including "Raising Capital in Arizona," "Securities Arbitrations," "Going Public in Arizona," "Private Offerings of Securities Under State Regulation D," and "Business Jeopardy."
Mr. Berry received his Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor degrees from Northwestern University, where he graduated cum laude and was on the Editorial Board of the Northwestern University Law Review. He has served on the board of directors of public and private corporations. Mr. Berry is a past President of the Paradise Valley Rotary Club, and currently serves on the Board of Trustees of its Foundation. He has also served as an advisor or director of many other charitable and civic organizations, including the Arizona Youth Soccer Association, North Scottsdale Little League and the Volunteer Friends of Channel 8. Mr. Berry was a founder of the Phoenix Ballet Company (now Ballet Arizona) and the Santos Soccer Club.
Mr. Berry was born in Louisville, Kentucky, was raised in Dayton, Ohio, and has practiced law in metropolitan Phoenix since 1973. He and his wife, Joan, have resided in Scottsdale since 1978, where they reared their two sons, Kevin and Ryan.
